Elaine Johnson was a Human female born in 2240, who was married to Robert Johnson. During the 2260s, she was a member of the experimental science colony on Gamma Hydra IV.

When the planet went through the trail of a comet in 2267, radiation hit the planet, causing all the colonists to age rapidly and die of premature old age. Johnson survived until the arrival of the USS Enterprise and was brought to sickbay, but died soon after. (TOS: "The Deadly Years")
