The Eiffel Tower from Café des Artistes

The Eiffel Tower is a steel structure located in the heart of Paris, France on Earth. It was built in 1889, and has since become the symbol of France. It was designed by the Human Gustav Eiffel, who also designed the structural framework for the Statue of Liberty in New York City.

The Eiffel Tower is also visible from the office of the Federation President. (Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country; DS9: "Homefront", "Paradise Lost")

In 2342, the Café des Artistes offered a spectacular view of the landmark. (TNG: "We'll Always Have Paris")

The Eiffel Tower has never been mentioned in dialog, but it has appeared numerous times in establishing shots of Paris. In fact, the script of "Homefront" is the only Star Trek script to mention the Eiffel Tower in its stage directions.
