Egypt is a nation-state on Earth, and once held one of the most advanced cultures of [[human] history, breaching technological and innovational barriers. The main Egyptian Empire lasted from about 3000 BCE to 500 AD.
Existed as it's own country before World War I and joined the United States of Africa as Earth became a unified government forming the United Federation of Planets.
