Eco-terrorism was a form of terrorism in which individuals, either acting independently or as part of extremist environmental-political organizations, engage in criminal behavior against businesses, property, and other people. Eco-terrorists have been known to commit criminal acts such as vandalism, arson, bombings, sabotage and murder against those that they feel are responsible for harming the environment.
Eco-terrorism was used in both the 20th century and the 21st century on Earth to promote environmental-political causes. Colonel Phillip Green was one of Earth's most prolific eco-terrorists during World War III, leading a genocidal campaign, which resulted in some 37 million deaths by the war's end in 2053.
