Dytallix B, also known as Dytallix B planet and Mira Antlia V, was the uninhabited fifth planet of the Mira system. The planet was tidally locked, with temperatures reaching 180 °C on the day side, and had no indigenous lifeforms. Some time before 2364, the planet was mined for the United Federation of Planets by the Dytallix Mining Company. Dytallix B was one of seven uninhabited planets mined by this company. The mines were located in the temperate zones between the day and night hemispheres.
In 2328, Dytallix B was the point of embarcation for three individuals. Mark Stimson traveled to Epsilon Wiltz IV on the SS Manoa, Max Gabl traveled to Alpha Majoris I on the SS Kogin and Craig Galloway traveled to Alpha Majoris I on the SS Wisconsin. (TNG-R: "Inheritance", okudagram)
In 2364, the position and orbital path of the planet was depicted on a system map that was displayed on the bridge of the USS Enterprise-D. (TNG: "Conspiracy", okudagram) The mines had been long abandoned and were used as a secret meeting place by Starfleet Captains Walker Keel, Rixx, Tryla Scott, and Jean-Luc Picard to discuss the infiltration of Starfleet Command by neural parasites. (TNG: "Conspiracy")
