Dwight David Eisenhower was a 20th century Human who served as the 34th President of the United States from 1953 to 1961. His nomination and approval as president was based on his noted leadership and heroics while serving in World War II. (TOS: "The Cage")
- Although not mentioned by name, a sketch of Eisenhower appeared on screen while the Talosians scanned the Enterprise computers in 2254.
- News coverage of Eisenhower's death pre-empted the original airdate for the final episode of TOS: "Turnabout Intruder". As a result, the episode did not air until 3 June 1969.
