A duotronic algorithm is a type of computer procedure.
The Druoda of the Delta Quadrant use duotronic algorithms to encode their communications. Their series 5 long-range tactical armor units also "speak" in duotronic algorithms, which can be interpreted by the translation matrix of a Starfleet EMH. (VOY: "Warhead")
