Duncan Regehr, born in Alberta, Canada in 1952, has played two romantic figures in Star Trek. He appeared as Beverly Crusher's ghostly lover Ronin in TNG: "Sub Rosa". On Star Trek: Deep Space Nine he had the recurring role of Shakaar Edon, the leader of Kira Nerys' resistance cell and later, Kira's sometime beau and First Minister of Bajor.
Regehr's TV work as included playing the title role on the series Zorro, which also featured Star Trek actors J.G. Hertzler, Henry Darrow, and James Horan in regular roles.
In addition to his work as an actor, Regehr has been a talk show host, a champion figure skater and an Olympic boxing contender. He is also a prolific artist.
