Sarjenka, a young Dreman female

This page features the Dremans; it is possible you may also be looking for the Dramians.

The Dremans are a humanoid species native to the planet Drema IV in the Selcundi Drema sector. They have dark orange skin, enlarged foreheads and fingers which become progressively longer from the index finger to the little (pinky) finger. The Dremans fall under the protection of the Prime Directive, as they are a pre-warp civilization.

Dreman technology included RF transmitters and doorways that could materialise and de-materialise.

In 2365, the Dremans were endangered with extinction when their geologically unstable planet was about to be destroyed. Data violated the Prime Directive when he responded to a radio call from a Dreman named Sarjenka. This made the USS Enterprise-D involved and her scientists decided to save the species by shattering the planet's dilithium lattices. (TNG: "Pen Pals")
