Doraf I was the first planet in the Doraf planetary system. This planet was a candidate for terraforming in the 2360s.

In 2368, the USS Enterprise-D was scheduled to undertake a terraforming mission at Doraf I, but the mission was canceled and the ship recalled to Starbase 234 by Fleet Admiral Brackett. (TNG: "Unification I")
