Donald Hotton (12 June 1941 – 8 January 2008; age 66) played the Bajoran monk in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine pilot episode "Emissary".
Hotton has also guest-starred in The Waltons, Little House on the Prairie, Airwolf, Alien Nation, and Cheers.
He also made a memorable appearance as General Tide in the popular film Dances with Wolves.
