Dick Giordano (20 July 193227 March 2010; age 77) was an American comic book artist and brother-in-law to artist Sal Trapani.

Giordano worked for many publishers including both DC and Marvel Comics. He was the Executive Editorial Director of DC Comics, and during his tenure, the ground-breaking Watchmen by Alan Moore and Dark Knight Returns by Frank Miller series were published. He also founded an advertising art company Continuity Associates, along with Neal Adams.

In 1975, he worked on at least one comic story published by Peter Pan Records in their Star Trek series "Passage to Moauv".

Giordano died of complications from treatment for leukemia on 27 March 2010. He was 77 years old. [1]
