Dessica II

Dessica II was a planet that was once home to an ancient Romulan outpost. One of the archaeological sites that contained remnants of this Romulan presence were the ruins of Nafir.

In 2370, Dessica II was governed by a heavily-corrupted government. The same year Captain Jean-Luc Picard was kidnapped from a bar on Dessica II by a group of mercenaries working under Arctus Baran. (TNG: "Gambit, Part I")
