Depnen was a hologram, inhabitant of a holographic Yaderan village created by Rurigan, working as a baker.

By 2370, he was a good friend of Taya's mother and always saved the best loaves of greenbread for them. Shortly before her disappearance, Taya's mother was making vase for Depnen. (DS9: "Shadowplay")
