Denobula was a planet in the Denobula Triaxa planetary system. Classified as Class M, this planet was inhabited by a warp capable species, the Denobulans. The planet had a single large continent. Fauna of Denobula included the Denobulan lemur.

The planet was heavily populated, with approximately twelve billion inhabitants in 2152. (ENT: "The Catwalk") The cities are quite crowded, though Phlox noted that the atmosphere was "vibrant, communal". (ENT: "Doctor's Orders")

In 2152, Phlox requested information on Pa'nar Syndrome from the Vulcan Doctor Yuris, claiming it was on behalf of a colleague on Denobula studying thymic sclerosis. (ENT: "Stigma")

In 2153, a group of Denobulan scientists studied a system of caves on the planet Xantoras, seeking to avert seismic disasters on Denobula. (ENT: "The Breach")

Background

According to the Star Trek: Star Charts (pg. 36, 44, "United Federation of Planets"), the Denobula Triaxa system, also known by its Bayer designation as Iota Boötis, was located in or near Federation space, in the Alpha Quadrant. Denobula Triaxa A was a Class G star with a magnitude of +7, which was 1/10 the brightness of Sol. Denobula Triaxa B and C were Class G stars.

In the mid-22nd century, Denobula was a destination on the Earth-Denobula, Fellebia-Denobula, Neethia-Denobula, Pyrithia-Denobula, Pree'-Denobula, and Vulcan-Denobula runs. In 2378, Denobula was a Federation member.

According to Startrek.com, Denobula was the sole planet in its system. [1]}}

Manny Coto had said that if Star Trek: Enterprise had gone into a fifth season, Enterprise would have visited Denobula. [2]
