Denobula was a planet and the homeworld of the Denobulan species. Located in the Denobula Triaxa system, the planet had a single large, inhabited continent. Fauna of Denobula included the Denobulan lemur.

The planet was heavily populated, with approximately twelve billion inhabitants in 2152. (ENT: "The Catwalk") The cities are quite crowded, though Phlox noted that the atmosphere was "vibrant, communal". (ENT: "Doctor's Orders")

In 2152, Phlox requested information on Pa'nar Syndrome from the Vulcan Doctor Yuris, claiming it was on behalf of a colleague on Denobula studying thymic sclerosis. (ENT: "Stigma")

In 2153, a group of Denobulan scientists studied a system of caves on the planet Xantoras, seeking to avert seismic disasters on Denobula. (ENT: "The Breach")

• Manny Coto has said that if Star Trek: Enterprise had gone into a fifth season, Enterprise would have visited Denobula.
• Presumably, Denobula was a Class M planet, since Phlox and other Denobulans have no difficulties with the atmosphere on board Enterprise.
• There is an actual star called "Denebola" (Beta Leonis), thirty-six light years from Earth, in the constellation Leo.
• According to the Star Trek: Star Charts, on page 44, this planet was named as a stop on the Earth and Vulcan trade routes in the 22nd century. In the star chart United Federation of Planets I, this planet was named, but not listed, as a United Federation of Planets member.
