Deneb is the star of the Deneb system. (TOS: "Where No Man Has Gone Before") Deneb was depicted in a Federation star chart. It was located near Gamma Trianguli. (TNG: "Conspiracy")
Deneb is a real star in the constellation Cygnus which was mentioned in VOY: "Lifesigns".
According to Star Trek: Star Charts (page 41) there are two stars called Deneb. Deneb Kaitos also known as Beta Ceti and Alpha Cygni.
