Delta Rana system (or Rana system) was a planetary star system in Federation space, located not far from the sphere of influence of the now-extinct Husnock species.

In 2366, the Husnock destroyed the Federation settlement on Delta Rana IV. The starship USS Enterprise-D later determined that there was only one survivor, Kevin Uxbridge. (TNG: "The Survivors")

BackgroundEdit

The real star Rana, also known as Delta Eridani, seems to be the basis of this system, although the name "Delta Rana system" was a new combination of the two nomenclatures. Rana was spectral class K0, and was located about 29.4 light years from Earth.
