Deela (Bajoran)

Deela

Deela was a Bajoran woman.

During the Occupation of Bajor she was a member of the Bajoran Resistance.

After the Cardassian withdrew she began to work at the Tozhat Resettlement Center caring for Cardassian war orphans.

Garak and Doctor Bashir would visit Deela's orphanage to determine if Rugal, a son of Kotan Pa'Dar, was housed there after the Occupation. Deela was unable to account for him. However, this was later revealed to be part of a plot by Gul Dukat to embarrass Pa'Dar, who was his political adversary. (DS9: "Cardassians")
