Dedestris was a planet in the Delta Quadrant, accessible from Sikaris via the Sikarins' spatial trajector. Sikaris imported a delicate fabric from Dedestris spun from the petals of a flower that only bloomed in the light of a moon.

In 2371, Sikarian Magistrate Gathorel Labin offered a scarf made of the fabric to Captain Kathryn Janeway of the USS Voyager. (VOY: "Prime Factors")
