Deck plating is the term for the metal flooring used on the decks of starships.

In 2151, Captain Jonathan Archer was irritated by a squeaking noise coming from under the deck plating in his ready room aboard the NX-01 Enterprise. He attempted to localize the sound, without success. (ENT: "Fight or Flight") The noise ceased after the Enterprise underwent repairs at an automated repair station. (ENT: "Dead Stop")
