Deborah Downey (born 30 November 1949; age 74) is a former actress who, at the age of 18, played Girl #1 in the Star Trek: The Original Series third season episode "The Way to Eden". She also performed vocals in the song "Hey, Out There!". Downey filmed her scenes between Friday 22 November 1968 and Friday 29 November 1968 at Desilu Stage 9 and Stage 10. She was also called in for a music recording session on Wednesday 20 November 1968, and a makeup and costume test on Thursday 21 November 1968 at Stage 9.

She and Napier also appeared together that year in a Western called The Hanging of Jake Ellis. Her album, Painting Pictures features "Heading Into Eden", a reworked version of a song from the episode. She retired from acting shortly after appearing on Star Trek. Since that time, she has made her living as a noted painter, under the name Deborah Lyons. Her portraits include astronaut Rick Searfoss and Trek-creator Gene Roddenberry. She has also done portraits of Star Trek actors.
