Deborah Dean Davis is an accomplished television writer, having broken into the industry with a script for The Incredible Hulk in 1979. Other shows she worked on included The Fall Guy, Knight Rider, Street Hawk, and the Olsen twins movie, It Takes Two.

In 1988, she wrote the TNG episode "We'll Always Have Paris" with Hannah Louise Shearer.
