David Soul (August 28, 1943 – ) played Makora in TOS: "The Apple". He is best known, however, for playing Detective Ken "Hutch" Hutchinson in the television series Starsky and Hutch, and appeared in the 2004 film version starring Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson years later. He also recorded a #1 single called Don't Give Up On Us Baby. He was formerly married to Julia Nickson who guest-starred in both TNG and DS9.
