David Soul (born 28 August 1943; age 80), born David Richard Solberg, played Makora in the original series episode "The Apple". He is perhaps best known, however, for playing Detective Ken "Hutch" Hutchinson in the television series Starsky and Hutch. He also had a cameo in the film version of Starsky & Hutch, which co-starred Rachael Harris and Fred Williamson, and was produced by Akiva Goldsman in 2004.
