Daniel Zacapa (born 19 July 1951; age 72) is an actor who appeared as Henry Garcia in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine third season episode "Past Tense, Part II", and an astronomer in the Star Trek: Voyager sixth season episode "Blink of an Eye".

A native of of Honduras, Zacapa has had a distinguished career in television. Outside of Star Trek, he has appeared on Seinfeld (with fellow Voyager guest actor Jason Alexander and fellow Deep Space Nine guest performer Heidi Swedberg), Beverly Hills, 90210, Diagnosis: Murder (with Susan Gibney), Six Feet Under (with Ed Begley, Jr. and Tracy Middendorf), NYPD Blue (with Gordon Clapp and Brian McNamara), The West Wing (with Thomas Kopache), the new Dragnet (one episode with Gary Graham, another with Erick Avari), Nip/Tuck (one episode with Jonathan Del Arco, another with Ian Abercrombie), and J.J. Abrams' Alias. Zacapa could also be seen in two episodes of JAG: one episode with Matt Winston, and another with David Andrews, Zoe McLellan, and then-series regular Scott Lawrence. In 2000, he appeared in an episode of The Practice which also guest-starred Star Trek: The Next Generation actress Gates McFadden. Two years later, he appeared on Boomtown, a series starring Star Trek: First Contact actor Neal McDonough. The episode Zacapa appeared in also featured Star Trek: Enterprise star Anthony Montgomery and Deep Space Nine guest actress Vanessa Williams.

Zacapa has also guest-starred on a number of other series in which fellow Trek alumni were regular cast members (besides the aforementioned Seinfeld, NYPD Blue, JAG, and Boomtown). He was seen on the Zach Grenier series C-16: FBI, in an episode with Lanei Chapman, Jeff Kober, and Glenn Morshower. He and Morshower also appeared in an episode of The District, starring Roger Aaron Brown. There was also an episode of Resurrection Blvd., starring Tony Plana and also guest-starring Lawrence Monoson and Ray Wise. Lastly, there was an episode of The Agency, on which Zacapa worked with series regular Daniel Benzali and David Clennon and fellow guest-star Gregg Henry.

Zacapa also has many film credits to his name. He played Detective Taylor in Seven (1995). The following year, he had a small role in Phenomenon, which also featured Next Generation star Brent Spiner and Deep Space Nine guest star Richard Kiley. Zacapa's other film credits include Up Close & Personal (1996), The Odd Couple II (1998), The Mexican (2001), and Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (2002, with Carlos Carrasco, Michael Ensign, Tommy Hinkley, and Monika Spruch) and The Sandlot.

Among Zacapa's television work is the recurring role of patriarch Ramon Dawson on NBC's Chicago Fire. Zacapa would appear in the sixth season premiere "It Wasn't Enough" with fellow CF recurring performer Gordon Clapp in his role as Chaplain Orlovsky, which would be his only appearance on the series working with another Trek actor.
