Daniel Leonard Bernardi (born 28 December 1950; age 62) is the director and professor for the cinema department at San Francisco State University. An author/editor of six books on race studies and new media portrayals, including one in 1998, while an assistant professor at UCLA, titled Star Trek and History: Race-ing Toward a White Future, published by Rutgers University Press.
