Dana White was a Starfleet captain in the 24th century.
Captain White was part of the shipyard group of engineers which was listed on the dedication plaque of the starship USS Enterprise-D when it was commissioned in 2363. (Star Trek: The Next Generation set artwork)
White's name, seen on the Enterprise dedication plaque, was an inside reference to production staff associate Dana White, who was later employed at Gregory Jein Inc. as model maker. wbm
