Dana Goldberg is a film producer and studio executive. She is currently production president at Skydance Productions, through which she is serving as an executive producer on Star Trek Into Darkness. [1] [2] She joined Skydance in 2010. [3]
Goldberg began her entertainment career as an assistant at Hollywood Pictures. She then spent three years as vice president of production at Baltimore/Spring Creek Pictures. From 1998 through 2010, she was a vice president and later president of production at Village Roadshow Pictures.
During her tenure at Village Roadshow, Goldberg was involved in the company's entire slate of films, including the Matrix and Ocean's Eleven trilogies, Training Day, Get Smart, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. She also served as executive producer on many of the company's films, including The Dukes of Hazzard, Happy Feet, I Am Legend, Get Smart, and Yes Man.
Since joining Skydance, Goldberg and Skydance founder David Ellison served as executive producer on the upcoming sci-fi/horror action-thriller World War Z. In addition to the Star Trek sequel, they are currently producing the action film One Shot, starring Tom Cruise.
