The Dameron system is a star system in the Cardassian Union, where a weapons depot is located. In 2371, the USS Defiant attacked the depot after it was stolen by Maquis operatives. It was one of several attacks designed to draw Cardassian forces away from the Orias system. (DS9: "Defiant")
