Dallas Sunday Puett, ACE, was the film editor for Star Trek Nemesis. He and Nemesis director Stuart Baird had previously worked together as editors on the films Ladyhawke (1985), Radio Flyer (1992), Demolition Man (1993), Maverick (1994), Executive Decision (1996, which Baird also directed), and Paramount Pictures's Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001).

Puett was credited as assistant editor on Lethal Weapon 3 (1992) and as an additional editor on The Fast and the Furious (2001). He was a lead editor on Lethal Weapon 4 (1997) and one of the primary editors on both 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003) and The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006). His other editing credits include American Flyers (1985), Bird on a Wire (1990), Free Willy 2: The Adventure Home (1995), Kull the Conquerer (1997), Deep Blue Sea (1999), and Red Planet (2000).
