D. Keating was a member of Starfleetduring the 22nd century.
In January of 2155, Keating was tactical officer at the Fleet Operations Center on Earth. Keating shared an office in room 5555 with "Space Hero" S. Bakula, surgeon J. Billingsley, science officer J. Blalock, "Top Gun" A. Montgomery, communications officer L. Park and engineer C. Trinneer. (ENT: "Demons" set artwork)
Keating's name was seen on a directory plaque on the set of "Demons". The name is an in-joke reference to Star Trek: Enterprise star Dominic Keating, who played Malcolm Reed, the tactical officer aboard the NX-01 Enterprise.
