D. Eames was a Federation colonist who lived on Tarsus IV during the famine of 2246. Eames was one of nine surviving witnesses of the 4,000 colonists murdered by order of the colony's Governor Kodos. Eames was later murdered by Kodos' daughter Lenore Karidian to prevent the implication of her father in the murders. (TOS: "The Conscience of the King")
