Cygnet XIV is the fourteenth planet in the Cygnet system. In 2267, it was inhabited by a female dominated civilization, and had facilities for general repair and maintenance. The USS Enterprise (NCC-1701) took advantage of these, and during the repair, the Cygnet people discovered that the ship's computer lacked a personality, so they gave it a female personality that was overaffectionate, and had an "annoying tendency to giggle".
