Cygnet XIV is the fourteenth planet in the Cygnet system. In 2267, it was inhabited by a female dominated civilization, and had facilities for general repair and maintenance. The USS Enterprise (NCC-1701) took advantage of these, and during the repair, the Cygnet people discovered that the ship's computer lacked a personality, so they gave it a female personality that was overaffectionate, and had an "annoying tendency to giggle". (TOS: "Tomorrow is Yesterday")

Since Kirk states in his log that he was on his way to Starbase 9 fore re-supply it is possible this world is not qualified to re-supply a Constitution Class Starship. --TOSrules 02:53, 22 Aug 2005 (UTC)
