Picards painting

Picard's painting

Cubism was an Earth art movement from the early 20th century.

Pablo Picasso and Fernand Léger were famous representatives of cubism.

In 2366, Jean-Luc Picard painted a picture that was inspired by cubism. Lieutenant Commander Data, who was not too fond of the picture, stated that while "suggesting the free treatment of form usually attributed to Fauvism", the painter "quite inappropriately attempted to juxtapose the disparate cubistic styles of Picasso and Léger. In addition, the use of color suggested a haphazard melange of clashing styles." Furthermore, Data was not happy with "the unsettling overtones of proto-Vulcan influences."
