Corinth IV was the fourth planet in the Corinth planetary system. By 2266, a starship base had been established there by the United Federation of Planets. During that year, it was commanded by Space Commander José Dominguez.

On stardate 1513, Dominguez sent a message to James Kirk, captain of the USS Enterprise, reminding Kirk that he was in possession of supplies which he "urgently needed." Kirk sent a message back informing Dominguez that the prime Mexican red chili peppers, which he had hand-picked, would be arriving in a matter of days. (TOS: "The Man Trap")
