Cor Caroli was a star system, the location of a sentient population on planet Cor Caroli V. This system was visited by the USS Enterprise-D in 2366. (TNG: "Allegiance")

The brightest star located in the constellation Canes Venatici, this system's primary has been called Alpha Canum Venaticorum by astronomers on Earth. It was located approximately 110 light years from Earth.
According to the Star Trek: Star Charts, page 44, this system was located in Sector 004 and in the Alpha Quadrant.
