The Conrad was a Federation Class F shuttlecraft that was in service with Starfleet in the late 23rd century, attached to Starbase 6.
In 2273, the Conrad was launching from the San Francisco air tram station just as Admiral James T. Kirk's air tram was arriving at the station. (Star Trek: The Motion Picture)
Clips showing the original scene and modified scene which included the inclusion of this shuttle appeared in the bonus features of Star Trek: The Motion Picture (The Director's Edition). The name and origin of the shuttle itself were revealed by Daren Dochterman, visual effects supervisor for the Director's Edition.
