A concussive charge was an explosive weapon utilized by both Starfleet and the Klingons.

In 2293, a Klingon battle cruiser fired concussive charges off the bow of the USS Excelsior, as the latter vessel was attempting to infiltrate Klingon space through the Azure Nebula. (VOY: "Flashback")

In the first draft script of "Flashback", the "concussive charges" were instead referred to merely as "warning shots". This reference was replaced with "concussive charges" by the time the final draft of the script was issued.

In 2368, Commander William T. Riker, first officer of the USS Enterprise, suggested using a concussive charge to blow out security fields which had been erected around Ten Forward by Ux-Mal criminals, who had taken over the bodies of Lieutenant Commander Data, Counselor Troi, and Chief O'Brien. (TNG: "Power Play")

Concussive charges were additionally referred to in the final draft script of ENT: "Detained". Commander Tucker told T'Pol he was planning to beam some of them into guard towers in Detention Complex 26 and thereby render guards in the facility unconscious for at least twenty minutes. In the episode itself, the charges are not mentioned and Tucker instead tells T'Pol he himself intends to sneak into the internment camp in a shuttlepod and target a pulse cannon there.
