Colin Anderson is a camera operator for Hollywood films. He operated the "A" camera on 2009's Star Trek under the supervision of Dan Mindel.

According to the Internet Movie Database, Anderson was also a steadicam operator on the film. This has not yet been confirmed.

Anderson previously collaborated with Mindel on the films Stuck on You, The Skeleton Key, and Mission: Impossible III. The latter film, like Star Trek, was directed by J.J. Abrams, written by Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, and distributed by Paramount Pictures. Many other filmmakers who worked on M:i:III also contributed to 2009's Star Trek.

Early in his career, Anderson was a first assistant cameraman on three science fiction films: Stargate (featuring Erick Avari), Tank Girl (starring Lori Petty, Ann Cusack, Reg E. Cathey, Iggy Pop, Jeff Kober, Charles Lucia, and Malcolm McDowell), and Species (featuring Richard Fancy, Jordan Lund, and Herta Ware). Since then, his operated cameras or stedicams (or both) for the productions of such films as Rush Hour (featuring Tzi Ma and Mark Rolston), The Haunting (featuring Virginia Madsen), Daredevil (featuring Erick Avari and Leland Orser), The Rundown (starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and William Lucking), and Looney Tunes: Back in Action (featuring Marc Lawrence, Dick Miller, George Murdock, Ron Perlman, and Robert Picardo).

In addition to his work with Dan Mindel, Anderson served as camera and stedicam operator for cinematographer and Star Trek: The Motion Picture visual effect photographer Robert Elswit on the acclaimed films Good Night, and Good Luck (featuring J.D. Cullum, Frank Langella, Glenn Morshower, and Ray Wise), Syriana (starring Robert Foxworth, Christopher Plummer, and Alexander Siddig), and There Will Be Blood. Anderson also worked on the hit Paramount films Dreamgirls (featuring Ivar Brogger, Robert Curtis Brown, and Daniel Riordan) and Iron Man (featuring Tom Morello, Bill Smitrovich, and Faran Tahir).
