Chile was a country on the South American continent of Earth.

In 2374, when Tom Paris and B'Elanna Torres argued about which holoprogram to visit, Paris proposed Spring skiing in Chile as a compromise where he could go skiing but it would still be warm enough for Torres, who did not like coldness. (VOY: "Waking Moments")
