Chief of Starfleet Operations

A position given to an admiral, who oversees the operations] of all Starfleet vessels and departments. All Starfleet Department Chiefs (i.e. Chief of Starfleet Medical, Chief of Starfleet Security), sector commanding officers, starbase commanders, and fleet commanders report to the Chief of Starfleet Operations.
