The Chief of Starfleet Intelligence is the person responsible for overseeing the intelligence agencies used by Starfleet.

In 2370, the Chief of Starfleet Intelligence oversaw Admiral Erik Pressman's mission to retrieve an experimental phasing cloak from the USS Pegasus. (TNG: "The Pegasus")
