Chicken liver was a food made from the liver of a chicken.

Porthos' favorite food was chicken liver with grated cheddar cheese. When Captain Archer was thought to be missing in 1944, the dog wouldn't eat this food when Dr. Phlox tried to feed it to him. (ENT: "Storm Front")
