Cheryl Gluckstern served as production associate during the fifth, sixth, and seventh season of Star Trek: The Next Generation. She was also the assistant of Peter Lauritson on Star Trek Generations. Gluckstern worked as post production coordinator on Star Trek: Deep Space Nines third season and Star Trek: Voyagers first season. She received credit as visual effects associate for the Deep Space Nine episodes "The Muse" and "For the Cause" and the second season of Star Trek: Voyager. In addition she served as visual effects coordinator on Voyager, beginning with its third season, and for the 1996 video game Star Trek: Borg.

A character listed on the directory placard in the The Next Generation episode "Violations" was named after her.
