Charles Drake (2 October 191710 September 1994; age 76), born Charles Louis Rupert, was the actor who played Commodore Stocker in the Star Trek: The Original Series second season episode "The Deadly Years". He filmed his scenes on Friday 4 August 1967, Wednesday 9 August 1967 and Thursday 10 August 1967 at Desilu Stage 9.

Drake appeared in nearly eighty feature films. He began primarily as a background extra and bit player, making brief appearances in such classic films as The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1939), Sergeant York (1941), and The Maltese Falcon (1941, with Elisha Cook). He soon began taking larger supporting roles in films such as It Came From Outer Space (1953) and Until They Sail (1957, directed by Robert Wise and starring Jean Simmons).

Perhaps his most well-known film roles were as Dr. Sanderson in Harvey (1950) and as Brandon in To Hell and Back (1955). He also made several appearances on Wagon Train. He also appeared in Winchester '73 (1950) and The Glenn Miller Story (1954), as well as classic films such as Tobor the Great (1954) and All That Heaven Allows (1955). In 1967, he appeared on the television series Mannix, as gubernatorial candidate Adam Pierson in the episode "Skid Marks on a Dry Run" written by John Meredyth Lucas; in 1973, the episode script was slightly altered and a new Mannix episode called "Search for a Whisper" was filmed, starring William Shatner as gubernatorial candidate Adam Langer.
