Channel 5

Channel 5 (formerly Five from 2002 to 2011) was one of the UK broadcasters of Star Trek. The channel gained the rights to show Star Trek: Insurrection as part of a package deal with Paramount Pictures in 2002. The premiere was held on 19 October 2003.

In 2005, Five announced that they would show reruns of Star Trek: Voyager, on the terrestrial channel, twice on Saturdays. This was later reduced to one episode per Saturday until the end of the first season in January 2006. In March 2006 five commenced showing the second season, twice every weekday. The series is no longer aired by the channel.

The channel also aired How William Shatner Changed the World on Wednesday, 24 May 2006 and Star Trek: The True Story on Thursday, 9 May 2013.
