Starfleet admiralsEdit

Based on the list at Starfleet admirals, I think this category would only be used by the top level admirals and there is only a few admirals who would also be categorized under Category:Starfleet captains.--Tim Thomason 02:02, 17 April 2006 (UTC)

Commodores?Edit

Should Commodores be categorized here? It is generally grouped as an admiral (or at least a flag) rank, but I can see both sides of the issue.--Tim Thomason 21:11, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

I would suggest that this category be replaced by one called "Starfleet flag officers" so commodores can be added, since we draw a connection between commodores and admirals. - Archduk3 03:21, February 2, 2011 (UTC)

SubcatEdit

Seeing this is a subcat to Category:Starfleet personnel, should all the admirals be listed in both categories? Wouldn't this one be sufficient. Kennelly 11:55, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

I could go either way. I can see the logic in listing admirals on both categories, in case people were searching for Starfleet personnel in general, you don't want to exclude admirals and users might not necessarily dive into the subcategories. I can also see removing them from the general personnel list to avoid duplication. --31dot 12:49, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
