Carrie Spiegle, daughter of Dan Spiegle, followed her father into the comic book industry. Unlike her father, she specialized in lettering, starting in 1977, and working through to the mid-1990s. She was a regular letterer on DC's Action Comics title, but found the time to contribute letters to two issues of DC's first Star Trek series, one illustrated by her father.
