Carmine Infantino (born 24 May 1925; age 87) is a comic book artist from Brooklyn. He started his career in the 1940s working on a variety of books before ending up at DC Comics where he became well known for his work on the "Golden Age" era of Black Canary, Green Lantern, The Flash, and Justice Society of America. By 1967, he was in charge of designed covers for every DC comic. He was approached to join Marvel Comics, but chose to stay at DC eventually hiring Dick Giordano, Neal Adams, and Denny O'Neil.

He continued to work for DC Comics, but freelanced for a variety of other publishers, eventually working on titles for Marvel including Spider-Man and Star Wars before retiring from the industry in 2005.

His only Star Trek credit is as an artist on issue #30 "Uhura's Story" with Ricardo Villagran in DC Comics' first Original Series volume.
